By now, some of you may know I work for a longboard company that we run right here out of Salt Lake City
(with the occasional/quite frequent trips to California for photo shoots)
Tonight, one of my accounts hosted a long board demo in Provo Canyon; so we headed south to fly the GoldCoast flag and represent.
(That's my "don't eat S*&T" face)
The whole family was in attendance, from the team pup
to our close friend's mini's
Who at 5 and 8, have been shredding since they escaped the womb. So rad
And for the umpteenth time, I was blown away by the beauty of the place I call home
Utah, I love you

White men can't jump
The other day, Matt and his friends were skating when they were approached by up and coming skate pro.....Darnell
Watch the first 40 seconds to see him tear it up.
Fast forward to the 3:51 mark to catch a glimpse of my cousins

Road Runner
Tonight, I find myself returning from yet another working road trip to Las Vegas.
Each time I go to Vegas, I like to slowly work through it's many tourist attractions. Like last trip, FINALLY getting to go on the Stratosphere's infamous roller coasters
My view from the top
This trip, I played it pretty low key. Dinner at Capo's
An amazing, off the strip, Italian restaurant that has you dinning in red velvet booths amongst tanks of swimming eels and crystal chandeliers. My experience looked more like this
The place is so dark, the menus come with their own mini flashlight. Just another element of this themed restaurant to make the diner feel like they're one with the mob.
Then it was off for a stroll of Crystals at City Center
And last, but certainly not least
See you next time Vegas

Way Up Der
When Matt invited me to tag along on a vacation to his home land, I jumped at the chance.
10 days away from my computer and blackberry?? Yes please!
Every year, Matt's family rents a house on the lake, and they all come together for fishing and fun in the sun.
Turns out fishing is still not my thing.
But the lake was beautiful,
and the company was great. I even found some things that involved less contact with the creatures of the deep and MUCH less bugs. Like swimming, games of Mad Libs
A casino that was about the size of a garage
And a whole lot of baby ducks that needed to be fed
Last, but not least, I indulged my guilty pleasure of being a total tourist wherever I go, and dragged Matt to the Mall of America.
Too bad this was the one and only photo we took there
Fail. Oh well. There's always next year
